Client Background
Our client, the PCL team within the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR) NHS healthcare system, required a digital solution to improve access to NHS vaccination services. Working in alignment with NHS England and ICB, the objective was to create a central platform that connects patients with clinicians and healthcare providers, improving accessibility and service efficiency across England.

Walk-In Immunisation Finder (WIIF)
YIIC Innovations delivered the Walk-In Immunisation Finder (WIIF), a bespoke application designed as a one-stop shop for vaccination discovery.

Patients enter their postcode to instantly locate nearby vaccination clinics. The system evaluates age, eligibility criteria and other relevant factors to ensure only appropriate clinics are displayed.

The application checks the underlying database to confirm which clinics are currently open and offering the required vaccination.
3. Accessibility Information:
Each clinic listing includes detailed accessibility data, enabling patients to make informed decisions.
